LaVell Edwards Stadium has some of the hottest games, concerts, and special events around. But to make sure it’s fun for everyone, there are a few rules that you have to follow.

Make sure you read the rules below so you know what to expect. They will help you avoid any issues during your visit to the venue. Please note that some events may have slightly different rules and management reserves the right to modify their rules for each event.

Accessibility Policy

ADA-approved seating and accommodations may be available upon request. Please contact the venue at your earliest convenience so they can help you with your specialized needs.

Animals Policy

Pets are not allowed inside the venue, only service animals. A service animal is a dog or a miniature horse that has been trained specifically to do work or tasks to assist someone with a disability. Other animals whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained are not considered service animals. Service animals must be under the owner’s control at all times either by verbal or sight command, or leash. If you intend to bring a service animal with you to a game or event, please notify the BYU Ticket Office at 801-422-2981.

Bag Policy

LaVell Edwards Stadium has adopted a NO bag policy. Small clutch bags, no larger than 5” x 8” x 1” , with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium.

The following items are permitted after inspection:

Medically necessary items (including diaper bags) will be permitted after inspection. One bag per person. Please enter through Gate 3 or Gate 9 for inspection.

Camera Policy

Video/audio recording is generally prohibited for all concerts and athletic events. For information regarding specific event policies, please contact the Marriott Center Special Events office at 801-422-6022.

Fans are welcome to bring personal cameras into Edwards Stadium. Camera bags are not allowed because of the no bag policy. Tripods are not permitted in the seating bowl. Professional photography/professional cameras and any video camera/equipment are not allowed in the stadium without a media credential. COVID-19 Related Policy

Lost and Found Policy

Lost and Found articles should be reported or turned in to the Stadium Management Office or to an usher. Any articles not claimed after the event will be sent from the Stadium Management Office to University Central Lost and Found in Room 118 WSC. This office can be reached at 801-422-3024.

  • Gifts
  • Flowers
  • Beach balls

These could be subject to change per the artist request. The venue reserves the right to adjust the items on this list.

LaVell Edwards Stadium reserves the right to search anyone, and their belongings, who enter the premises.

Re-Entry/Entry Policy

Guests are not allowed to exit the building and return during the course of a single ticketed event in the LaVell Edwards Stadium. Specific events may allow an exception to the policy and allow guests to exit and re-enter the facility.

Smoking Rules

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all of MetraPark’s facilities. The LaVell Edwards Stadium does provide a designated outdoor smoking area.
